Colombia – Magical realism
After many lawlessness years, Colombia is recovering from a troubled past. In 2014, we visited this colorful country, full of proud people. Our trip went past coffee plantations, included a serious 5-day hike in the Andes, went through quiet mountain villages, and finished at an overnight stay with the cowboys of the vast and sunburned plains of Casanare. This diverse country still breathes the magical realism of Gabriel Garcia Marquez. March 2014
