My name is Frank Morselt, born in 1967. I am a hobby photographer, living in Walik-Riethoven, near Eindhoven, in the Netherlands.
My style of photography varies. Among my favorite styles are: street photography, travel photography, landscape and portrait. My wife and I like traveling off the beaten track, and many of my pictures have been taken during these trips.
I like to caption my emotions when exploring new territories, what appeals to me, and without setting up the scene. For example, trying to capture the self-consciousness and the power of an African citizen living in difficult circumstances in a remote village. Or capturing a street scene from a different point of view than the obvious one. I get inspired by observing the world around us, and seeing what is beyond it in terms of esthetics or contrast. It captivates me when an image provides food for thought and opens up questions.
My equipment is Nikon DSLR. My first digital camera was D70, followed by D300 and currently I am shooting with a D750. I shoot RAW files and I execute a little post-processing in Adobe Lightroom.
Thanks for visiting, and I do hope you like my portfolio.
