Dominica - Nature island of the Caribbean

The friendly island of Dominica, not to be confused with the Dominican Republic, is often nicknamed 'nature island of the Caribbean'. These pictures taken from our holiday trip in 2008, show rugged black-sand beaches, small fisherman villages, thick rainforest, and the volcanic activity that created a boiling lake and river.
